This was my first time EVER using piping tips to decorate any kind of cake. I had no idea how these were going to come out, but I have to say I am quite proud of my results. 🙂

First of all, I have to say these piping tips are really well made. They are very big compared to other piping tips I’ve seen people use. The kit included 15 different tips, 2 couplers, some bags, and a cleaning brush.

I didn’t use the couplers, as they seemed to be the most intimidating part of the entire process. I just cut the piping bag and dropped the tip in. This worked rather well for me.

Now, in my defense… it was a very humid day and the icing was not cooperating as much as I would have liked it to. I did watch a few Youtube videos before doing my review and have to say that I would like to trr using buttercream on my next attempt. It looks like it would hold up better because the store bought icing seems to have a high oil content which made it a little too soft for this type of decorating. Regardless, I think my cupcakes came out pretty darn awesome!! 🙂
